You Might Be Feeling This Way If…..
You do not have to figure this out alone. Therapy with Kourtney is about creating enough safety, support, and understanding that you can begin to relate to yourself and your life differently.
Kourtney’s Approach
Kourtney is a relational and person-centred counsellor at her core. She places strong value on the therapeutic relationship and the healing that can happen when clients feel genuinely met in connection.
She believes that clients are the experts on their own lives. In sessions, she trusts each person’s pace and direction, while also offering thoughtful support, reflection, and practical tools when needed.
Kourtney’s style is flexible and responsive. She draws from somatic practices, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). She also holds certification in Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT).
For some clients, support may look like practical tools for anxiety, emotional regulation, or day-to-day coping. For others, it may mean slowing down, noticing what is happening in the body, or gently exploring the deeper emotional and relational patterns underneath the surface.
Rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach, Kourtney adapts her work to the person in front of her. She meets clients where they are, whether that means working through things cognitively, reconnecting with the body, building skills, or creating space for parts of their story that have felt too overwhelming to hold alone.
Who Kourtney Often Works With
Many clients come to Kourtney feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or tired of trying to manage everything on their own. Some are sorting through past or current trauma. Some are navigating identity, belonging, family roles, or relationship patterns. Others are trying to understand why anxiety, shutdown, or overthinking keeps getting in the way of living the way they want to live.
Clients often leave therapy feeling lighter, more equipped to handle daily life, and more able to hold their stories with compassion instead of overwhelm.
