Lejla Muratspahic, RCC (she/her)
Registered Clinical Counsellor | Virtual Counselling Across BC
Lejla offers a warm, grounded, and compassionate approach to counselling for individuals, couples, and families seeking support through life’s challenges. She believes therapy should feel collaborative and respectful, a space where clients feel seen, supported, and able to move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
Lejla is a Registered Clinical Counsellor and a member of the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). She holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and has completed post-degree training in a range of evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. Her work integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), person-centred therapy, mindfulness-based practices, and systems-informed counselling for couples and families.
She is trauma-informed and Somatic Experiencing®-informed, with a focus on supporting nervous system regulation alongside emotional processing. Lejla understands that stress and trauma can show up in both the mind and body, and she works gently and collaboratively to help clients build awareness, resilience, and greater emotional stability.
Lejla currently offers virtual counselling to clients across British Columbia. While her work with Amethyst Therapy Inc. is fully online, she is based in the Cariboo region of BC, bringing a grounded perspective that reflects a range of lived experiences beyond large urban centres.
Clients often seek support with trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship challenges, life transitions, and a desire for deeper self-connection. Lejla holds a deep belief in each person’s capacity for healing and growth and works alongside clients to build practical tools, inner resources, and renewed hope.
A fulfilling and balanced life is possible, even after difficult experiences. Lejla is honoured to support clients as they move toward greater wellbeing and self-trust.
