Parminder’s Approach
Healing begins when we feel truly seen, heard, and understood. Parminder believes that every person has the inner strength and capacity for growth. Her role is to provide a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with yourself, and move toward healing.
She holds a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology and is a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors. Her approach is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. She draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed therapy, EMDR-informed approaches, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help clients better understand themselves, process difficult experiences, strengthen relationships, and develop greater emotional awareness and resilience.
Parminder supports individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, PTSD, complex trauma, substance use concerns, emotional regulation challenges, self-esteem struggles, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. She believes healing is not about changing who you are, but about creating space to understand yourself with greater compassion and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been impacted by life experiences. She is honoured to walk alongside clients as they move toward greater balance, connection, and well-being.
What Clients Often Experience
Many clients come to Parminder feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, trauma, or the weight of life transitions. Some are struggling with substance use, relationship challenges, or self-esteem, while others are simply ready to feel more connected to themselves.
